Beware of Reebok counterfeit products!

Reebok - The brand

The sporting goods manufacturer emerged from the family business J.W.Foster and Sons a manufacturer of sportswear in 1958, when two of the founder's grandsons joined forces and formed the joint venture Reebok. At that time, Reebok counterfeits were not yet a problem. The brand had its breakthrough in 1979 when the shoes were first sold on the US market. At the time, they were the most expensive athletic shoes available, with a price tag of $60. Pentlound Group bought the company in 1981 and within 3 years helped the brand gain a market share of about 35% in the US.
Since 2006, Reebok has been a subsidiary of Adidas AG and its items are available in more than 140 countries.

Reebok products

Then as now, the focus of the products is on sportswear. The company produces clothing for many different sports such as crossfit, running, basketball and yoga. Here, the product range is not only limited to shoes. The associated clothing is also part of the Reebok range. For example, the brand is the main supplier of the NBA, NFL and MLB. Also in the segment of leisure or lifestyle shoes and sneakers, the brand is very broadly positioned and enjoys great popularity. The first major successes were recorded with the "Freestyle" model, which is still available today under the label Reebok Classics. Accordingly, the brand's target group is not limited to athletes, but also includes customers who want to use the items in their free time.

Reebok Detect Counterfeit

As with many other successful manufacturers, there are also many Reebok fakes. Often, you can already tell if the online store that offers Reebok shoes is reputable. If already the website of the store looks unprofessional and is poorly translated, then caution is advised. You should also pay attention to the price of the items: If the price of all products is unusually low, there is a high probability that the product is fake. Likewise, the quality and workmanship are important criteria. In the case of fakes, it is often the case that, for example, the logo or brand lettering is blurrily embroidered or sewn on.
To avoid falling for counterfeit goods, you should buy Reebok items only from online stores you know or from Reebok directly.
